Vaisala has developed the DGA OTP100 product, an innovative sensor technology innovation. By using non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) to measure light intensity, it is highly stable and unaffected by oil pressure and temperature, drastically reducing measurement errors.
It also has no mechanical moving parts and features self-automatic correction, periodically adjusting the zero point within the equipment, which prevents measurement errors from persisting over time and thereby improves measurement stability.
By eliminating the need for consumables, it achieves cost-effectiveness and fully automated measurement. We are expanding the market by completing completely unpaid online monitoring technology. Power plant operators are preferred.

IR technology, working principle
Gas molecules absorb infrared light when exposed to it.
With the increase in molecules in the gas volume
→ stronger absorption.
The measured gas can be selected by changing the wavelength of light with a band-pass filter.
Vaisala uses a solid state H2 sensor, measuring directly in the oil.
